A Busy Year for Groups

Seems we are going through a busy period for lareger groups of all types. Over the last few months we have cyclists, motorcyclists, walkers and golfers with a couple of other sporting groups to come. We always get some of course but just seem to have been more staying longer this year. We seem to work well for groups of up to 35 or so as they can either book out the entire hotel, or for smaller groups the hotel is small enough that they still feel they have their own space. Low Season/Midweek Weddings Offer

Our Winter Weddings offer last year proved popular so we are offering the same again over the coming Winter. From October 2017 to March 2018 all wedding accommodation charges are reduced by 25% and if you choose to go for a mid-week wedding another 25% applies meaning you can get a full 50%. We have also introduced more flexible pricing for smaller weddings. For more details see our brochure (click here) or just phone/email to arrange a meeting.

Radnorshire Walks

We've recently come across a lovely little book 'Walking The Old Ways of Radnorshire' which has 26 circular walks local to us, including one around Llandrindod Wells. Most walkers will already know the lovely walking available near us in the Brecons or the Elan Valley but this book highlights some of the gorgeous, quieter walks available locally and offers some interesting historical notes as well along with excellent photos. Whether travelling for yourselves or planning for a larger walking group this will give you a great idea of just how lovely the walking in Radnorshire can be. Issued just last year the walks seem fully up-to-date (at least the ones we have tried are). The book is authored by Andy & Karen Johnson and is available either on Amazon or direct from Logaston Press (www.logastonpress.co.uk).

Walking to Llandegly Rocks and Gilwern Hill

As part of the Kington Walks festival we recently did a lovely walk from Builth Wells up along the ridge behind the hotel - along the Gilwern Hill and on to Llandegly Rocks. The views back over the scenery around our hotel were stunning. Not sure my photography can capture it very well but a few photos give the idea.
